What Alexis Mac Allister said
Speaking about his teammates and their chances of lifting trophies this season, Mac Allister revealed that the camaraderie in Liverpool’s squad and the thrill of winning trophies makes him keen on staying at the club for many years to come.
“It’s a really special club,” the 26-year-old said.
“When you are at a big club, normally there are a lot of egos or that kind of thing.
But in this club, everyone can see the unity and connection.
I’m really, really happy to be here, and hopefully (I have) many, many more years to come.
“After the World Cup, I realised how good it feels to win something like that.
I know if I win the Premier League or Champions League I will feel it again.
That’s why I feel this team has the ambition to win those kind of things.”
